How to pass through Spam filters

This question is mainly relevant if you start using our system for commercial emailing. Hugo abides by the rules of the Authority for Consumers and Markets and it is therefor mandatory to make sure you follow these golden rules:

Consent

Any user you are sending a commercial email needs to have given you permission to do so.

Your identity

 It should be very clear to the receiving party who is sending him an email.

Unsubscribe option

The receiving party should always have the ability to unsubscribe from your Fanbase Group.

Tell a friend functionality

This is an often used method to broaden the reach of an email campaign beyond the known email addresses of the sender. There are however a couple of rules you need to keep in mind.

  • Take “tell a friend” literally and make sure in your communication you stimulate the user to only send it to close friends and family.
  • You are not allowed to add an incentive to this like wining prices.

These rules are very important to stick to when creating email campaigns!
